Sea Monkey's, Weirder Than You Think

Source: Live Science           Sea Monkeys..... a lot of you probably know what i'm talking about. A massive disappointment to many children, with a very....how should I say...odd creator. If you don't know what Sea Monkeys are then here's a little sea monkey primer. Sea monkeys are a kids toy that promises "instant life." They are really just little brine shrimp in a fancy little tank. For many people they were one of their biggest disappointments in childhood. For the last 63 years kids believed the colorful, promising advertising, only to find out that "sea monkeys" are just little brine shrimp. The man behind the sea monkeys, Harold Von Braunhut, is much more interesting. Sea Monkeys are really just brine shrimp, which is an organism that hatches from a dry egg. The little eggs that look like sand have a long shelf life and hatch when they come into contact with water....kinda cool...but not "magical." Marketing Genius  Harold Von

What is the Coronavirus?

Source: Live Science There is no denying that the Coronavirus is a controversial, and to many terrifying subject. Schools and businesses are rapidly closing, and more and more people are getting infected. I have heard many rumors daily, that range wildly from, "oh, it's not really bad, it's like a cold!" to "we're all going to die, and all because the Chinese wanted to eat bats!" Here's the thing peeps, I can't really tell you exactly what the Coronavirus is, I can only tell you what we know so far. If I told you that everything here is exactly proven, I would be lying, and would probably get slaughtered by comments in the future. Note: Sorry I didn't get a Lorenzo Ramble up on last Wednesday/Thursday, I was really busy. If you haven't noticed I am shifting to a Wednesday/Thursday and Sunday/Monday schedule.  What we "think" it is so far... For one the Coronavirus is not one singular disease, but rather a "fami

1000 Views Mystery Post!

Well.... We've made it, OVER 1000 total views. There may be some questions as to whether Google analytics is actually correct, but whatever, we'll go with it. I think it's pretty cool that anyone wants to read my rambles anyway. For this post I have not put a picture because I want to keep you in suspense, and putting a picture of a question mark looks stupid... to me at least.  But, I am excited to announce a new spontaneous random micro series that will occur when I feel like it. Titled elegantly and simply....... Virginia. I will talk about major companies based in Virginia, or just places in the state I find interesting. Of course choosing Virginia because this is my home state and the home state of 90% of my current viewers.  I feel like many people don't try to get to know much about their home state, unless it's really small. When people go on vacation, they will usually go abroad, to other states, or even other countries, instead of looking to wh

Nike's Banned Shoes?

Ok, sorry the title is a little misleading. But up until about a month ago people didn't know if the Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next% would be banned from large competitions by the World Athletic Association. (Spoiler: They didn't....but there were some strings attached.) If you aren't a runner, or don't know anything about performance distance running, there is a chance you have never heard of these shoes. So I'll give you some background.  What is a Nike Vaporfly Next% I know what your thinking, Nike didn't give a shoe a name as long as ZoomX Vaporfly Next%......but they did. The Next% is one of the most expensive, and highly sought after long distance running shoes. The Next% is actually a second generation shoe, the first being the 4%. The 4% is a lot like the Next% except it has a little less foam, and it's shape is less refined. Although this looks like a pink bathtub of a shoe, there is a little secret inside.......
